Long ago, the village of Chenye witnessed a tragic legacy of envy and malevolence. Brothers Meng Xin and Xianluo were destined for vastly different fates. When Meng Xin’s prosperous rule was cut short by a mysterious poison, Xianluo seized power, plunging Chenye into an era of darkness which endured for the entirety of his reign. Yet even after death, Xianluo’s influence persists. In Visiting Death, the dead and buried Xianluo returns from the grave, seeking to torment the village once more. His spectral wrath leaves destruction in its wake, with the dead rising and the living trembling in fear.
